Young pace bowler Yash Dayal got married to Shweta Pundir in a private wedding ceremony on February 04. Notably, the duo got married over a month ago but kept the event away from the public eye. Yash and Shweta have been in the wedding lock since February, but the news surfacing in March has left the cricketing fraternity surprised.

The news came to light finally after Shweta had shared a reel of the duo's wedding.

Who is Shweta Pundir?

To those who don't know, Yash Dayal's wife Shweta Pundir is a popular figure in the social media circles and a vlogger-influencer with almost 600000 followers on her Instagram account. She has also been associated with cricket as a broadcaster during her time as a host at the International Legends League.

Speaking of Yash, the left-arm pacer will soon be linking up with his Indian Premier League team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, to feature in the 2026 season of the cash-rich tournament, which will get underway on March 28. Dayal is expected to play a crucial part in RCB's title-defending run, with the Rajat Patidar-led side opening their campaign against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Apart from Yash, RCB also have the likes of experienced pacers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood and Romario Shepherd as leaders of their pace attack. However, it is their batting that looks the most dominant unit, led by none other than Virat Kohli, the highest run-getter in the IPL history.
