The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) on Monday declared the Class 12 board exam results, in which girls again outshone boys. Class 12 students celebrate their success after BSEB released the results (Santosh Kumar)

The toppers of the Arts and Commerce streams for Class 12 Bihar Board exams are girls, while a boy topped in the Science stream. Check your result here.

The Science stream was topped by Samastipur’s Aditya Prakash Aman, while Sakshi Kumari and Sita Kumari secured the second position in the stream.

The Arts section topper is Nishu Kumari from Gaya, while Sidhi Shukla from Sitamarhi, Chandradeep Kumar from Lakhisarai and Mohammed Zaki Ansari from Purnia secured the second position in the stream.

Aditi Kumari from Patna topped the Commerce section of the exam, and Mahi Kumari, also from Patna, secured the second position.

Aditya scored 96.20 per cent marks in the Science stream, making him the state topper and the sole boy to stand in first position in any stream. The Arts topper, Nishu Kumari, scored 95.8 per cent marks, while the Commerce topper scored a total of 480 marks.

This year, the total pass percentage stood at 85.19 per cent, marginally down from 86.56 per cent last year. In 2024, the overall pass percentage was slightly higher at 87.21 per cent. Stream-wise, Arts recorded 86.15 per cent, Commerce 94.88 per cent, and Science 87.80 per cent.

More about the BSEB Class 12 result The Class 12 results were announced via a press conference. The result was announced by Minister Sunil Kumar at the BSEB office. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore and Dr B. Rajendra, Upper Chief Secretary, were present at the event.

The Bihar Class 12 board exam commenced on February 2 and concluded on February 13, 2026. The exam was held in two shifts: the first from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and the second from 2 pm to 5.15 pm. Students had 15 minutes (between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. in shift 1 and between 2 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. in shift 2) as a cool-down period.
