3 Die and 3 Others Injured After Decades-Old Highway Overpass Collapses at Demolition Site

Demolition work was being conducted on South Korea's Seosomun Overpass when a structural issue prompted a safety inspection. A part of the bridge work collapsed, causing debris to fall on workers and vehicles. At least three people were killed and three others were injured in the incident. The Seosomun Overpass, which first opened in 1966, had been undergoing demolition work due to aging infrastructure problems. First responders searched the site and officials cordoned off traffic to prevent additional congestion.
