8th CPC questionnaire submission deadline today

The 8th Pay Commission (8th CPC) has announced that its team will visit Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, on April 24, 2026, as part of its ongoing consultation process with stakeholders on pay, allowances and related service matters.The 8th Pay Commission has invited suggestions and representations from employees, pensioners, organisations, unions and other stakeholders regarding pay, pension, allowance and other job-related matters. The Commission was formally constituted through a government resolution dated November 3, 2025. It has been given 18 months of time to submit its report of recommendations.According to an official notice issued by the 8th Pay Commission on March 30, 2026: “Stakeholders including central government organisations, institutions, unions and associations that wish to interact with the visiting team can request an appointment in advance. Interested groups have been asked to submit their requests via email to manish.kr1975@nic.in on or before April 10, 2026.”In its message that is also posted on its official website, the 8th CPC stated that details regarding the venue and the meeting schedule will be shared with the concerned stakeholders at a later stage.Inputs received during such interactions are typically considered while finalising recommendations related to salary structures, allowances and pension benefits for central government employees and pensioners.As part of its consultation process, the 8th Pay Commission has also asked associations and unions representing serving employees and pensioners, as well as interested institutions and individuals, to share their views in line with the Commission’s terms of reference. These terms have been made available on the Commission’s official website. The last date to submit these suggestions is April 30, 2026.The 8th CPC has requested that all submissions be made through its official portal only.The 8th Pay Commission is currently gathering feedback from various stakeholders before drafting its recommendations, which will play a key role in determining future salary structures and retirement benefits for lakhs of central government employees and pensioners.Today (Tuesday, March 31, 2026) is also the last date to submit responses to the 8th CPC questionnaire. The earlier deadline for the same was March 16, 2026, which was extended to March 31, 2026.The questionnaire is a feedback form that includes questions related to central government employees’ pay, pension, allowances and other job-related aspects.
