The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has lodged complaints with the News Broadcasters & Digital Association and the National Commission for Women, seeking action against a Telugu media house for allegedly airing derogatory and defamatory content targeting women.
In a representation to the NBDA, MLC Lella Appi Reddy alleged that the channel broadcast unverified and malicious content aimed at the former Chief Minister, Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and the YSRCP, describing it as a deliberate attempt to mislead the public rather than fair journalism.
