India’s oldest Test cricketer CD Gopinath dies

India's oldest living Test cricketer, C. D. Gopinath, has passed away at the age of 96. He is survived by his family. Gopinath was a stylish right-handed batter known for his wide range of strokes and played 83 first-class matches, scoring 4,259 runs with an average of 42.16. He made his Test debut in 1951 and featured in eight Tests, scoring 242 runs at an average of 22.
