Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat sleeper train gets Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s nod

A new Vande Bharat Sleeper train service is being introduced between Bengaluru and Mumbai. The semi-high-speed train is expected to improve long-distance overnight travel and enhance passenger comfort. Developed by BEML using Integral Coach Factory technology, the train will run between KSR Bengaluru and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai. This will be the second Vande Bharat Sleeper train in the country, operated and maintained by South Western Railway zone.
