Nellore police arrest man who duped youth on pretext of providing jobs in TTD

Based on the complaint given by the duped victims, a case was registered at the Vedayapalem Police Station under the relevant sections of cheating and forgery; during investigation, ₹25.20 lakh was seized from the accused so far.

Nellore police have arrested a 44-year-old man who duped unemployed youth on pretext of providing jobs in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and recovered over ₹25.20 lakh cash collected by the accused from the victims.

Following a complaint by some of the duped persons, two special teams – one each from Central Crime Station (CCS) and Vedayapalem Police Station – were formed for investigation of this case under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Dr. Ajitha Vejendla, Additional SP (Admin) Ch. Soujanya, town SDPO & ASP Deeksha.
