Prime Video on Thursday unveiled its largest-ever Indian Originals slate, doubling down on its content investment in the country with a lineup of nearly 55 series and films across languages and formats.Announced at its “Prime Video Presents 2026” showcase in Mumbai, the slate spans Hindi, Tamil and Telugu content, alongside a push into theatrical releases through Amazon MGM Studios India. The company said the multi-language offering is designed to serve audiences across both streaming and cinema.The Originals lineup features a mix of scripted and unscripted titles, including Nikkhil Advani’s The Revolutionaries starring Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada, Matka King led by Vijay Varma, and Raakh featuring Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir. Other key titles include Lukkhe, marking the acting debut of rapper KING, and Vansh – The Kalyug Warriors, positioned as India’s first homegrown Hindi superhero series for streaming.Returning franchises form a significant part of the slate, with new seasons of Farzi, Panchayat, Call Me Bae, Dupahiya, Dahaad and The Traitors in the pipeline.Prime Video is also expanding its regional content strategy, with titles such as the Telugu adaptation of The Traitors hosted by Teja Sajja, Telugu drama Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat starring Kiran Abbavaram and Thiruveer, Tamil series Exam, and new seasons of Vadhandhi and Inspector Rishi.The platform is strengthening its creator partnerships with new collaborations, including Hrithik Roshan’s HRX Films, which will debut with the series Storm and film Mess, and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions, which is backing the film Don’t Be Shy.In a significant move, Prime Video also unveiled a theatrical slate under Amazon MGM Studios India, featuring five films: Raftaar starring Rajkummar Rao and Keerthy Suresh, directed by Aditya Nimbalkar; VIBE, directed by and starring Kunal Kemmu alongside Preity G Zinta and Sparsh Shrivastava; Dilkashi, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery with music by A.R. Rahman; Nayyi Navelli starring Yami Gautam and directed by Balaji Mohan; and Kuku Ki Kundli, directed by Sharan Sharma and starring Bhuvan Bam and Wamiqa Gabbi.“This slate marks Prime Video India’s new era, delivering unparalleled content diversity,” said Shilangi Mukherji, director and head of SVOD business, Prime Video India. “India remains central to Prime Video’s global growth, ranking among the top territories worldwide for attracting new Prime members in 2025.
