As moon sightings vary by location, Eid is celebrated on different days across countries.This year, Ramzan in India lasted for 30 days, compared to 29 days last year. Under the Islamic lunar calendar, months are determined by the visibility of the moon and typically run for either 29 or 30 days.During Ramzan, Muslims observe fasting from sunrise to sunset, abstaining from food and drink as part of their religious practice.
