Activists say 28-year-old woman executed in Iran for murdering husband

A 28-year-old woman has been executed in Iran for the murder of her husband. She was hanged at the central prison in Ardabil, in accordance with Islamic law, which allows the family of a murder victim to seek revenge. The woman was accused of killing her husband with pills and was pregnant at the time of her arrest. Her child, now two years old, was reportedly born in prison and is being raised by her mother.
