ArXiv will ban researchers who upload papers full of AI slop

ArXiv, a platform for preprint academic research, is implementing new rules to reduce papers with AI-generated content. Papers with "incontrovertible evidence" that authors did not verify results, such as hallucinated references or LLM-generated comments, will be subject to these new rules.
