Bengal polls: TMC, BJP workers clash at Jagatdal; crude bombs hurled, shots fired

Clashes broke out between Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers at Jagatdal in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas, resulting in crude bombs being hurled and shots being fired. A paramilitary trooper sustained splinter injuries and four people have been arrested in connection with the violence. Crude bombs were also recovered in Habra and Bhangar, prompting a probe by the National Investigation Agency.
