Bengaluru's first double-decker metro flyover now fully operational

The Central Silk Board double-decker flyover is now fully operational with all five flyovers open for traffic. The flyover, South India's first road-cum-rail structure, has brought relief to thousands of commuters. Constructed by Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, the flyovers span 3.2 km and have decongested the city's second-most congested traffic point, the Central Silk Board junction. Commuters can now save at least 30 minutes of travel time.
