Boy, 8, showered with gifts after plane intervention

An eight-year-old boy from Salford, who calmed a disruptive passenger on a Jet2 flight from Turkey, has received gifts from strangers across the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany. The gifts, including a PlayStation 5, started arriving at the family's home after the incident, with the boy's father saying it was like Christmas Day. The family has now asked people to stop sending gifts and instead donate to charity, with the boy wanting to give the presents to those in need.
