Chinese hacker arrested for hacking into computers of US companies and Universities

A Chinese national, Xu Zewei, has been extradited to the United States to face charges. He is accused of hacking into computers between 2020 and 2021. These alleged intrusions were part of the HAFNIUM campaign and targeted COVID-19 research. Xu is said to have worked under the direction of Chinese intelligence services.
