CM Revanth proposes task force for development of six major cities

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy proposed the creation of an "M-6 Task Force" under the Prime Minister's Office to accelerate the development of six major cities. These cities, which house around 10% of India's population and generate nearly a quarter of its GDP, are to be developed to global standards. A dedicated infrastructure fund of 1 lakh crore is sought for each city to strengthen urban growth centres and contribute to India's economic expansion.
