Cop among 2 arrested as Manipur unrest leaves one injured in firing

Two people, including a Manipur Police officer, were arrested for allegedly pelting stones at security forces while protesting the death of two children in a bomb blast. They were involved in burning debris and targeting security forces using slingshots and stones. Separately, a person sustained bullet injuries after security forces allegedly opened fire on a mob advancing towards a chief minister's programme venue. The situation was later brought under control.
