DeepSeek, a Chinese artificial intelligence company, has released a preview of its latest open-source AI model, DeepSeek V4. The model is available for download and modification under an MIT license, setting it apart from rival US companies that fiercely protect their models. Two versions of DeepSeek V4 are available, including DeepSeek-V4-Pro with 1.6 trillion parameters and DeepSeek-V4-Flash with 284 billion parameters.
