Delhi HC grants interim bail to MP Abdul Rashid Sheikh for father’s funeral

The Delhi high court granted interim bail to MP Abdul Rashid Sheikh in a terror-funding case. The court allowed the relief to enable Rashid to attend his father's burial and perform customary last rites. Rashid has been in custody for over six years since his arrest. He will remain accompanied by at least two police personnel in plain clothes throughout the period of his interim bail, which is until he returns from Srinagar.
