‘EC salutes voters’: Tamil Nadu, West Bengal record highest-ever turnout since Independence

Female turnout in West Bengal reached a record 92.69%, compared to 90.92% for men, and 85.76% of women voted in Tamil Nadu, with male participation at 83.57%.
