Editorial: NEET paper leak is a betrayal of student trust

The cancellation of the NEET-UG examination following a suspected paper leak exposes the deepening rot in India's examination system. The leak, which was discovered four days after the exam, has led to a CBI probe and cancellation of the test. This is not the first time NEET has been rocked by allegations of paper leaks, with a similar incident occurring in 2024. The credibility of the National Testing Agency now lies in tatters, and the entire system of education is in need of an overhaul.
