Environmentalists hail withdrawal of KSIC land transfer for stadium in T. Narsipura

Environmentalists have welcomed a Government Order withdrawing the transfer of land in the KSIC's silk filature at T. Narsipura to the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports for a stadium. This decision will help save trees at the filature factory that would have been felled had a stadium been constructed on the land. The GO has been implemented with immediate effect.
