Five teenagers climb UP water tank ‘to record reel’, one dies, two rescued by IAF, others in critical condition

Two children were stranded overnight atop a water tank in Siddharthnagar district of Uttar Pradesh after five children climbed the structure to record a reel. A 10-year-old boy died when the staircase collapsed, and two others fell and remain in critical condition. The remaining two children were safely rescued by an Indian Air Force helicopter at around 5.20 am after efforts to construct an alternate route were disrupted by rain. They were later taken to Gorakhpur for treatment.
