Former Israeli ambassador to the UK appointed as head of PMO National Public Diplomacy Directorate

Tzipi Hotovely, a former Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom, has been appointed head of the National Public Diplomacy Directorate in the Prime Minister's Office. She was unanimously approved by the government to fill the role that has been vacant since May 2024. Hotovely is expected to assume the position next week, having previously served as ambassador to the UK between 2020 and 2025.
