France investigates reappearance of website linked to Pelicot crimes

French prosecutors have launched an investigation into the reappearance of a website linked to the crimes of Dominique Pelicot, which was shut in 2024 after being cited in reports of criminal activity. The website, known for facilitating sexual abuse of children, drug offences, rape, and murder, had a precursor that was unmoderated and offered registration-free access to chatrooms. Two similarly named websites with identical designs have reappeared online, prompting concerns about child sexual abuse.
