Gaza aid flotilla reaches Crete after Israel intercepts vessels

A Global Sumud Flotilla has set sail for Gaza with over 30 vessels from multiple countries, seeking to bring aid to the conflict-hit region. The flotilla has reached Crete, with parts entering the bay of Ierapetra, and is expected to travel on to the island's administrative capital Heraklion. Israel intercepted some of the ships earlier, sparking international condemnation, and arrested around 175 activists, with two being brought to Israel for questioning.
