Gaza aid flotilla vessels taken to Crete after Israeli interception

Israeli forces have intercepted 22 boats in international waters near Greece, seizing them and taking 168 crew members to the Greek island of Crete. Two activists remain with Israeli authorities. The boats, carrying humanitarian aid, were part of the Global Sumud Flotilla sailing from Barcelona in Spain to Gaza. Israeli military forces used drones, communications jamming technology, and armed raiding parties to halt the fleet in the Mediterranean.
