Gaza flotilla activists return to Germany after deportation

Activists Nesrin Zeaiter and Uwe Sander, who were part of a Gaza aid flotilla stopped by the Israeli navy in international waters, have returned to Germany after being deported from Israel to Turkey. They were greeted by supporters at Hanover airport with chants of "Free Palestine". The activists had reported mistreatment, assaults, and torture by Israeli security forces following their detention, with Zeaiter alleging she was beaten, bitten by dogs, and injured with stab wounds.
