Germany's Wadephul seeks closer ties with Morocco over renewables

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul is on a two-day visit to Rabat, Morocco, where he called for closer cooperation over renewable energy sources. Morocco is a pioneer in solar and wind power and is becoming a leading producer of green hydrogen. Wadephul also visited an automotive supplier with 7,000 employees in Rabat and discussed expanding relations with his Moroccan counterpart. He also participated in a football training session with Moroccan female players.
