Giddens Ko and Kai Ko Bring ‘Kung Fu’ to Far East Film Fest, Reveal Stephen Chow Input

Taiwanese filmmaker Giddens Ko revealed that Stephen Chow contributed to the film's development, "Kung Fu", which is Taiwan's largest-budgeted production. Ko adapted the film from his own novel, written 25 years ago, and first attempted to shoot it around 2013 but pulled back due to excess confidence. The film incorporates footage from classic wuxia works, which Ko described as narrative threads planted early in the story to lay down the foundation for the future character.
