Heatwave alert! IMD warns of spike in mercury across North India — Punjab, UP, others; Southwest monsoon update here

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh due to a predicted spike in mercury across North India.
