Hegseth attacks Europe over 'invasion' of migrants on its beaches in D-Day speech

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has criticised European nations for allowing an "invasion" of migrants on their shores, during a D-Day anniversary speech in France. Hegseth stated that European beaches are stormed by different ideologies, with boats and men arriving, and questioned when European capitals will do something about it. He emphasized that freedom is not free and that the men who fought and died in Normandy restored freedom to Europe, which must be maintained by this generation of leaders.
