Heritage Minister taps INEXTG CEO Esther Shreiber for next IAA director, first woman in role

Esther Shrieber, CEO of the INEXTG Group, has been tapped to be the next director of the Israel Antiquities Authority. Her appointment will be submitted for approval by the IAA's council and the government. Shrieber holds a bachelor's degree in the History of the Jewish People and a master's degree in Public Administration and Policy. She is a Stern Prize recipient for studies of the Second Temple period. The appointment was made after a thorough selection process by a committee that examined dozens of candidates.
