Hezbollah and Israel swap threats and strikes across Lebanon’s border

Israel has threatened to "burn" Lebanon after Hezbollah reiterated its defiance and rejection of peace talks. Hezbollah has condemned Beirut's discussions with Israel and refused to end its campaign of strikes across the border in the face of Israel's persisting attacks. Israeli Defence Minister has warned that defiance will bring catastrophic consequences, while Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has vowed to continue defensive resistance and respond to Israeli aggression.
