HMWS&SB urges Hyderabad residents to conserve water amid rising tanker demand
Amid rising summer temperatures and declining groundwater levels in the city, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board Managing Director K. Ashok Reddy has urged citizens to exercise restraint in their use of drinking water and adopt conservation practices to prevent shortages in the coming weeks.
The appeal to the citizens came after a high-level review meeting along with Joint Managing Director Mayank Mittal, when the top officials assessed the city’s water supply situation. The discussions focused on summer preparedness, tanker management, and field-level supply operations.
