'How are we going to get back home?' Islamist group tightens blockade on Mali capital

Mali's capital city Bamako is under a partial blockade by Islamist militants, with at least three of the six main routes into the city closed for hours at a time. Residents are stranded on the Bamako-Kéniéba highway, unable to re-enter the city after visiting out of town. The blockade follows a warning by Islamist group Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin that no-one will be allowed in any more, causing concern among residents.
