Huge order boosts Belfast Airbus factory

Airbus Belfast factory receives a huge order from Malaysian airline Air Asia for 150 A220 aircraft, the single largest order ever made for the A220. This order takes total orders beyond 1,000. The Belfast factory, employing about 1,500 people, makes the wings and mid-fuselage for the A220. The order is expected to boost production and competitiveness of the factory, which is one of Northern Ireland's most important manufacturing facilities.
