Hyderabad: Man loses Rs 1.75 lakh after downloading fake movie app

A Cyberabad resident lost Rs 1.75 lakh after downloading a fake movie app advertised on Facebook. The app contained malware that accessed OTPs and SMS, allowing fraudsters to drain bank accounts. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
