I traveled the world as a flight attendant. I wanted a quieter life — now I run a bakery in rural Japan.

A 34-year-old woman, who previously worked as a flight attendant in Dubai and a PR agency in Tokyo, moved to the Japanese countryside with her husband and toddler son. They purchased a 180-year-old house in Kamijo Village, about 140 miles northwest of Tokyo, which included 6 acres of farmland. The couple renovated the house and now runs a bakery from the property, utilizing the woman's English skills in a different way.
