IDF: Iron Beam laser saw limited use in Iran war due to lack of batteries, 14 needed

The Israeli Air Force stated that the Iron Beam laser defense system was not used significantly in the 2026 war with Iran due to the military's need for 14 batteries to have a significant impact. The system was previously announced as operational in December 2025, but its readiness was not fully utilized in the war. The Defense Ministry did not explain the discrepancy.
