India eyes wartime edge with new joint doctrines

India is set to unveil two warfighting doctrines for intelligence and targeting to enhance military integration and decision-making in conflicts. The doctrines, prepared by Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff, are expected to be issued within two months. They aim to integrate military capabilities in critical fields such as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and targeting for faster decision-making during war. These doctrines are part of India's roadmap for theaterisation to achieve battlefield dominance.
