India, Italy to boost defence industrial framework for co-production of military hardware

India and Italy have resolved to develop a defence industrial framework for co-production of military hardware. This move aims to bolster bilateral defence and strategic ties between the two nations. The decision was reached during talks between Defence Minister and his Italian counterpart in New Delhi. The framework is expected to enhance cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, focusing on technology collaboration, co-production and co-development of defence platforms and equipment.
