Indian Railways orders audit of signalling systems to ensure safety

Indian Railways has ordered an audit of signalling systems across its network to rectify deficiencies and improve overall reliability for ensuring safety of train operations. The Railway Board has directed General Managers of all Zonal Railways to depute senior officers to conduct the audit, focusing on ensuring quality of newly commissioned installations and reviewing existing systems for reliability.
