India’s first green methanol plant to turn Kutch weed into marine fuel

Prosopis juliflora, a threat to biodiversity in Kutch's Banni grasslands, will be converted into methanol. This move comes as the global shipping industry is required to adopt green fuels under International Maritime Organization rules.
