Iran move World Cup base from US to Mexico with FIFA approval

Iran's football team will be based in Tijuana, a Mexican border city, during this year's World Cup. The team will move from their previously planned camp in Arizona after FIFA approved the request. The switch is intended to avoid visa-related complications following the US-Israel war on Iran, allowing the team to fly directly to Mexico with Iran Air. Iran will play their first two Group G matches in Los Angeles before facing Egypt in Seattle.
