ISF leader Nawsad Siddique seeks second term from Bhangar in 2026 Assembly elections

Nawsad Siddique, the chairman of the Indian Secular Front, is currently serving as MLA from Bhangar constituency in the Legislative Assembly. He aims to secure another term in the 2026 Assembly elections from the same constituency. Siddique was elected in the 2021 Assembly elections from Bhangar as a candidate of the Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party and has been detained in Kolkata in 2025 following clashes between ISF supporters and the police.
