Israel names IAI CEO Boaz Levy chairman in first for state-owned defense company

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) CEO Boaz Levy has been appointed chairman of the company's board of directors, marking the first time a serving chief executive of an Israeli government-owned company has also held this position. Levy was elected by the company's board and approved by the Senior Appointments Committee, and his appointment places him in a dual leadership role at IAI, one of Israel's largest state-owned companies. He has served as the company's CEO since 2020.
