Jet fuel price for international airlines hiked 5.3%, fares under pressure

Jet fuel prices for international airlines have been raised by 5.33% to $1,511.86 per kilolitre, adding pressure on fares due to rising costs and airspace disruptions. State-run oil companies made this hike, the second since April 1, while domestic airline fares remain under pressure from cumulative impact of rising fuel costs and airspace disruptions. There was no change in Aviation Turbine Fuel prices for domestic airlines.
