Kancheepuram district sees over 87% polling

Voting in Kancheepuram District was largely peaceful with four constituencies going to polls. By 6 p.m., 87.39% of the district's voters had cast their ballots, with Alandur polling 86.15%, Sriperumbudur 86.14%, Uthiramerur 90.64% and Kancheepuram 87.15%. A total of 10,22,414 voters had exercised their right to choose their candidate.
